Hello - I have made a charge handle for a G43 directly remixing D3D Slim Chargy, but i have a question or two about its functionality. When removing the stock dust cover plate, the spring inside the slide has to be depressed. When removing this charge handle, nothing has to be depressed and it can slide off with enough force in the right direction. That tells me I have done something wrong. I am thinking that the channel liner is not nesting inside the recessed circle cut into the inside face of the charge handle. Still, I would think the spring tension would be enough to keep it in place but actually I guess it makes sense that the channel liner is not locking. Maybe I answered my own question, but just wanted some feedback.

It’s possible your scaling was off, try this one out https://guncadindex.com/detail/M12-G43-Baseplate:a

It’s the only g43 backplate I could find. This would be a starting position, the size of the backplate and the position of the circular indent on the inside face both need to cooperate for that firing pin sleeve to line up and lock in.

Thank you. You were correct and I suppose my hunch was pretty accurate. The indentation I made was too small in diameter. I updated the model and I’m printing it again right now. Thank you very much for this reference.

also that is a baseplate lol, but the changes I made to my model seemed to have fixed it for the most part.

Awesome! Yeah that was the only 43 backplate I saw that didn’t have an autosear >_<
