  • The plastikov has features which make it look like a FA sear could be made to work but, it won't fit as is. FA also requires a factory FA selector to hold the FA disconnector tail down.

  • Yep the feed lips, the mags are slightly different height and as soon as the shorter one finished the taller one started having issues. Not only did it shift but it also became very glossy at the same layer height.

I had been using default settings in orca, which worked until they didn't.

  • The standard AKSS cam rotates on the factory selector which is not used in the plastikov, and other parts of the plastikov frame are in the way. You would need a complete redesign to get an FRT.

You could use a standard AK binary, but you would be stuck with two position. Three position requires a standard FA AK selector.

  • 'Murica

  • I've been doing it for years, just never used bacon grease 🐖

  • Here I am saving my pennies for something else and you keep posting about this.

  • This is the only one I know of for the vmac .45, but fusion and clicks are free 🤠

I'm really not sure of any cross compatibility. I'm about as Mac ignorant as you can get

  • Yep, and they have the right amount of goofyness

  • Good job man, I know it was both a mess and a highly desired project.

  • The three Recession Rugers are P89 9mm( FDE), P94 .40 ( blue), and P345 .45 ( black prototype.

The side charger on the left was done by drilling and tapping the safety with M4 threads. On that model to remove the safety you have to remove the ejector. I believe the P94 is the same but I haven't done that one yet. The P345 safety lever comes out with the two pin safetys after removing the rear sight and set screw, and removing the pigtail spring and pin visible on the slide bottom. The pigtail holds the safety lever.

  • Couldn't figure out how to add second picture to original post.

  • I haven't done a 2077 so I can't say for sure how this will fit in there. It's located by the shelf and secured with the end cap. I should probably look at the 2077 to get a better idea of compatibility.

I have metal trip bars on order. As is they wouldn't bend them as there is a slot too close to the bend area. I'm going to bend them myself first to verify function, then possibly make the changes if there are issues bending in the vice.

It is a good bit of work to get the trip bar set as they have to be hand fit to get correct timing. It's not tricky, just takes time. You'll also need a FA carrier and need to square off the notch with a Dremel.

I'll be posting open beta here in the beta room, and on WG after I know the metal trip works. I'm working on some documentation now. I'm also trying to work out a hammer profile that doesn't require welding.

  • And digital copies are like guns... Two is one and one is none.

  • I bought the Q2 on sale without the box about a month ago. I haven't used it with any fancy filament yet but it has worked great with easy set up.

Also, my understanding is that the dry box is just to keep it dry, you'll need something else to actually dry wet filament.

  • These are probably the most commonly imported kits, and were always some of the least expensive.

  • Yes, not a bad price. Only caveat is that some Romanian trunnions had variation in the rivet hole locations.

  • Looks nice, I've always been a fan of these sights.

The T.I.T.S. iron sights have a windage adjustment that uses an m3 or 4 volt, captured nut, and a locknut. I've used this set up in a different set of sights and it worked well and didn't require special hardware. Perhaps singing similar could be adapted.

How'd you get elevation on the drum?

  • It would take massive legislation at the federal level to ban PMF or unserialized firearms. While most people think of the 60s as ancient history there are a lot of factory firearms out there made before GCA. Any new legislation would have to address this somehow.

What is more likely is a state ban. What could go either way if of it banned me manufacturing or possession.

Either way if what you're doing now it's legal there is no future threat for what is already done legally. You'd have to interpret any new legislation and act accordingly.

It's impossible for them to know about every transaction that 'could be' a firearm part.

  • For beta testing files it makes sense to only include a printable file and not an editable one, as this minimizes the chance of a tester making changes that would invalidate the results.
