  • I'm trying to see why he's claiming only pla can survive. If he has 20 years of experience, I remember back in the day when everyone kept claiming pa6 was too weak to use yet nowadays it's the complete opposite and seen as one of the best because the simple knowledge of water.

  • Siraya pet cf and elegoo pahtcf. Pet is fine for 22 but I personally wouldn't use it for other calibers. Elegoo I was trying out. The mag is pla and the quality isn't good because speed was turned up since it was just a test print.

  • Moisture conditioning.

  • What was your conditioning process for any of the pa?

  • I'll need to tighten the adapter tolerances then.

  • Rs22 barrel should be the most stable attachment with the pins going all the way through the receiver. So is the play in the adapter to barrel or adapter to receiver? If there is any need for a brace than something isn't fitting correctly.

  • No because how it connects to the receiver is different. That is what I meant when I said if the mount was changed. There is a pic rail end cap but I know some people want a more flush (I guess that's the closest term) look to the end of the receiver.

  • It's all the same bcg and barrel design. I'd consider ar22 standardized with different 22lr ar types having different names like sw15-22 or bc22. I meant price. Factor in the barrel cost and rtb bcg in a combo is roughly $85.

  • If the mount onto the receiver was changed, it should fit on any mp5 clone.

Share whatever you want. It's all out there and can't be stopped.

  • It's just matching rtb bolt+barrel combos. I think psa has a higher shipping cost too, I'll have to look at my orders.

  • 1.09mm but the closest scs has is 1.2mm which will work fine.

  • You can go farther in or just use something else to keep it down as it cools. Screwdriver works. Make sure to keep it straight. Then cut off the excess that pushed out around it.

  • They specify ambient air at 70% rh. There is no room for interpretation.

What you read was their wet testing method which says submerged in water at 60c for 48h which oversaturates to 5.3% when equilibrium to air is 3.3%. Testing is a harsher environment as others may use their prints in wet environments. We don't submerge our guns in water so we care less about the wet test results nor is it the ideal moisture conditioning method.

  • I didn't mean in feeds I mean when creating a post and picking which community to post it in.

  • I was thinking this was the real cause. Making a post you see all the other communities so they probably see our stuff in feeds depending how they filter. Is there no way to keep it at least filtered to just guncad communities listed when creating a post?

Edit: Although my other posts were just a filament color comparison and case sale. I do know I have stalker trolls on reddit because I ruffled some feathers.

  • I got these from hkparts during their black friday sale for 5 bens so a really good deal. Otherwise you're typically looking closer to 600-700. Robertrtg is also known for selling hk parts. These are not HK made or they would costs thousands. These are US made by RCM which is considered good quality.

Clone kits are on gunbroker sometimes but they are rare. Depending on the manufacturer, they could go for around the same price or several times more but you'd have all the other mp5 parts and a cut receiver nub on the trunnion. Here's an example. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1128101734

Parts dispensed also has kits but that only comes with the MP5K-RS bolt. The one I bought was the standard MP5 bolt. There's multiple bolt versions, different calibers, etc. Maf sells an ejector which is labeled for kf5/sf5 but it's the same as a standard mp5 ejector you can buy elsewhere. I forgot to put that in the pic.

I will not be building or remixing the sf5/kf5 but I will be doing something similar with AR fcg. A mp5 replica is not possible without a metal receiver and I want a printed project. I'm already building FMP HK G3 with a receiver flat and don't want to do the same with mp5.

  • I forgot to mention I use the same AR fcg pocket and same trip surface on the bolt for all of my designs so if someone makes one for any, it'll work for them all.

  • Trilug itself isn't known to be a good mount which is why people don't suggest it these days other than for that HK vibe. I haven't heard anyone have issues but there was only 2 people that I know of that put a suppressor on it so not a large test base. Mine wiggles by hand with enough force but so does my commercial trilug (kvp mount) so I wouldn't mag dump unless you are prepared for the worst. Slow fire should be fine.

  • As good as a commercial barrel depending on your skill. It's pretty hard to shoot out a 22 barrel. Before 3d printing the liners were primarily for refurbishing barrels that are not made anymore. So a liner in a metal tube would be just like a commercial barrel.

It's ridiculous to have to walk on eggshells. Some of us have lived around the world and choose to live in the US because of its freedoms. I won't be oppressed. Anyone who tolerates it is not American. Isn't that a big part of 3d2a? Yet they still deal with reddit. Although I know a lot on there are socialist, communist, pro gun but anti 2a, antifa, etc because they contact me for help.

    FDE ODG color comparison

I tried to color correct it the best I could but it was just an online editor. It's a relative comparison anyways and if you have one, you can compare with the photo and get an idea. It might have been better to take the photo in the sun because the blue sky made blue highlights but this is good enough for now.

I'll probably be asked about the container. It's ezy storage 32L and walmart has a 6 pack for $54. Edit: It will actually hold 10 if spools are put in long ways but this was a better orientation for comparison.
