I tried a roll of Creality PPA-CF and had issues with it breaking during the last 200g or so. Three times it snapped coming off the spool in the dryer. It did print super good, though for the first 800g. I chalked it up to maybe needing to dry it more, but at its price I just stick with Siraya’s core black.

I use Elegoo for PAHT-CF and Siraya Tech’s Core Black for PPA-CF. My K1C print the Core version better than the standard version when it comes to their PPA-CF. I know a lot of people view Elegoo’s stuff as lower quality, but if performs amazingly for me and my Kobra S1 can print it. The Kobra gives me all kinds of grief with PPA-CF though.

3·23 days agoSuper excited for this one. Safe to assume you will be selling hardware kits (if applicable) when it drops?
That’s what I was curious about…what downsides I wasn’t seeing. Thanks for the insight!

1·1 month agoMy 5.56 is on a Hoffman SL-15 and my 300 Blackout is on a Kaewon Defiance remix. Both have held up extremely well, and I have yet to notice a performance decrease at all in either of them.

Word. I’ll give it a read. Thank you!
I can’t remember, but a month or two back, weren’t you looking for people to help mirror the index? Or is that not a thing anymore?
Agreed. Super easy to put together and cheap.

Search the Ark https://fosscad.io/c/ark if you haven’t yet. With PET-CF, you will get a lot of different opinions. PET-CF prints great under a wider arrange of settings, and you won’t really know if the layers adhered until they snap.
When you find the settings you want to try, print something small and see how hard it is to snap along the layer lines. Then adjust. When in doubt, hot and slow with minimal cooling.
