  • Pretty cool if you ignore the tape securing the two magazines together 🤣. Please spend the 20 minutes it takes to design a side stack base plate so the neighbors won't describe you as an airsoft playing crackhead when they see you bringing this to the car. Next time you see them in their yard it they'll be handing you donated 6mm bbs and bulk packs of clear lighters homeless people and teenagers use.

  • This will be a useful solution provided everyone agrees to design their lowers to fasten the grips with nuts instead of heatserts. Before the ubar3 was released with fixed grip options I had two ubar2 lowers rendered practically useless when the heatserts gave way after an overzealous pull of the charging handle.

  • Looks awesome in pacf6.(I'm assuming that's what it is) I'm thinking of printing one in all white to match my stormtrooper aim.

  • this is super bad ass. Is there a beta? im willing to participate if so. i've got an aves brand and maf arms brand bolt so i can confirm for multiple bolt compatibility for what thats worth.

  • I've been really curious about what extra steps or precautions you gotta take for stuff you're gonna heat treat during post processing. Are you making any significant changes to the model in the slicer pre-empting dimensional changes (like slightly resizing it or things like that, not the obvious slicer setting changes for different materials).

  • Now that forbiddencode has released the 3 part ergonomic AR grip I'm building another one that's gonna be white with red trim base.

  • It's the ump 11/9. I referred to it as "the ump" in the second sentence I figured that would be enough context. It's arguably the cheapest Mac/AR project you can get into as a beginner. 100 bucks for the bolt 70 ish for the barrel/trunnion 25 for the trigger/hammer and 30 for the plate (more like 5 but the minimum order is 30 bucks).

  • Yes. It's a hodge podge of different people's stuff. The projectile dysfunction for all but the barrel and pistol grip. The grip is the (I think?) laff dynamics v2 storage grip and the barrel is grixxly prints ramset barrels for pd.

  • I wouldn't go as far to say you're a life saver. But you certainly saved me a lot of frustration! Thanks.

  • That's awesome. I need more work surfaces and shelving. I'm defaulting to the floor like a crackhead cause the only workspace is a 4x1.5 feet computer desk that ends up being a "catch all" for clutter.

  • I second the motion to inquiry. I need this in my life!

  • Id love a real photo of the firing pin with it's new printed parts installed before inserting it in the slide. I looked at the included step but only the printed parts are represented. Am I correct in assuming the spring needs to be moved so it then pushes the firing pin in the direction opposite of it's normal iteration?

  • Good catch. I was searching the part number and the provided part name so that discrepancy was flying right over my head.

  • In the BOM of the pdf the Spring loaded bearing is listed twice with the same parts number but it says only one is required in each entry. I just wanna confirm this is a typo and I'm not over looking something.

  • Because I have six of the metal mags collecting dust and I've been praying for something to do with'em😎. Maybe miracles do happen on crimbus

  • Are you annealing it or just gonna leave it as is?
