  • how did you close the bolt when youre done weighting it?

  • I Promise you It is SUPER easy if you're using a dedicated ar22 bolt (the conversion bolt has this extra step where you gotta cut into the chambered part of the liner so that can throw you off until you realize that's not required). The hardest part is filing into the liner for the extractor which is still easy as poop...if you get that wrong your shit will still work just not quite as well. You can use almost any kind of super glue or CA epoxy but jb weld is the best IMO. You don't necessarily have to Glue everything immediately if you keep a tight enough fit you can test fit everything together but i wouldnt fire before glueing. just be sure to clean it scuff it rough it.

A metal barrel is fine too as long as its not too long and heavy for the plastic upper.

  • Im getting investigator vibes. Anyone else feel like this guy is an investigator using a translator? Im guessing Brazilian given the language and its a .380. Its such a common caliber there if they were to create a bullet resistant breast implant thats what they'd likely use to judge its effectiveness.

  • I've got nothing against the idea of a mostly printed dedicated ar22 barrel. I've got to go against the grain and ask: Is there a reason you're opting for the traditional ar22barrel (im assuming its gonna be the typical profile) over a carbon fiber Proto-barrel? You'd only need the larger diameter of the two "required carbon fiber tubes" when making one from a chaszel barrel. The best part is its infinitely easier to remove the liner if you mess up or want repurpose the liner for a different project ( versus sticking prints it in a corrugated cardboard box to cook it with a Heatgun). If you want to use any muzzle devices it has coarse thread adapter that is much easier to deal with than the finer stuff like: 1/2-28, 5/8-24 when printed from PLA+/pro. If its something you just feel like doing or designing then go for it I wouldn't mind seeing other barrel profile copies or even entirely new ones. However when taking into Consideration $20-ish (generally speaking if there's two brands with seemingly identical options the one priced slightly higher usually will have a better finish) buys enough material to make at-least two (16"long) and as many as 6(5.5"long) (remember chaszel liners only use the 1x25x23x420mm tube in the BOM ) nothing else comes to mind that can elevate your project's looks and (most often) performance for such a small investment in capital and time.

  • We'll soon see. I've printed almost everything but the bipod, pistol grip and charging handle. the only non trivial thing i have to do at this point is shape the "striker" and add weight to the bolt although in all honesty the hardest part is going to be a locating my longer m3 assortment amongst all the clutter.

  • What barrel are you using with the baby Barrett? Just got an rs22 barrel in but haven't ordered reinforcements yet.

I've meant to for the last 3 weeks but every Saturday I'm about to checkout on send cut send and I get distracted on here looking for other projects that use metal reinforcements. Last week I ended up on 3d print freedom and spent all my money on an mp40kit and charging handle instead

  • Was the kit everything needed or everything but electronics?

  • What brand bolt might you be using? I've seen a great deal of printed cmmg style dedicated .22 bcgs that appear to be of different origins of design floating around odysee however I've never seen any proof of life.

  • I can't ever stay up late enough to ever get on there when your hosting the classes live. Is there any way to access them after the fact?

  • How much did you spend in time and money? (On the voron) Last I looked it was like 4-600 for an unassembled kit from Alibaba or some Chinese site of similar business model.

  • Good luck I've been searching for the same thing and have never been able to find a dd19 with the thumb depression AND rail.

  • There's exponentially more vile concepts and products coming out of California. What's the point of removing guns from California when the assholes who wish to misuse them still remain.

  • The metal mags work great. You can find them for super cheap. I bought 4 for like 30 bucks a year ago I'll find the website once I'm on my home computer if you're interested.

  • I bought three heltec v3s when Lora was being glazed by all the mainstream tech blogs as if to be a viable alternative to texting by cell phone. Is this being used as a sort of temporary antenna tower to provide the range by additional height or will you be more focused on traveling a distance in a more x,y oriented sense? Is there a significant difference between the two methods?

  • That's a shame cause that particular frame is so nice to shoot when done right. If I was having those issues I would first make sure make sure I didn't over ream the holes the pins go into . I was lucky enough to have Phillip screw drivers that are the same diameter as the rail pins and the smaller pin the slide lock spring pushes against. They came from the 20 dollar set at harbor freight that includes torx screwdrivers with green handle bases that set has all the tools I ever use for assembling a printed Glock (TBH you really need only a flathead screwdriver for the magazine release spring if your printer game is on point but mine ain't)

If you know you didn't over ream the holes then the next thing I'd do is switch trigger assembly's. A lower parts kit is only 40 bucks.

Then if that doesn't fix your light striking issue I would start looking at the slide. I was under the impression the dagger slides only properly functioned on dagger frames.. so maybe swap your slide for a friends non psa-dagger slide assembly? I can't imagine why people on odysee would take the time to upload a Glock frame just to cut the potential views in half by naming it a dagger frame unless it was to avoid compatibility issues.

  • Yeah I didn't consider that could be an infinite money glitch if you knew a few owners of convenience stores.

  • Judging from the back ground it looks like 3d printers and guns aren't the only things you prefer building instead of buying. I wanted to build a voron... But I realized building a gun is easier and infinitely more enjoyable. Haven't stopped since making that decision.
