Security and ordering parts outside USA
Hello again my friends
I wanted to ask you guys for opinions about security and ordering parts/forum posting/general security when doing all things 3D2A. I am OUTSIDE of the USA (cant say country for obvious reasons) and in very heavy restriction country. I do not have access to ammo, barrel liners, part kits etc, so everything must do DIY. Currently use cut-open nailgun blank (~40% powder) with airgun slug crimped inside for .22 build and nailgun blank for 15mm build. Barrel is smooth 6mm id steel tube.
My main question is about security or being anonymous when ordering parts that are firearm related. Not strictly firearm parts like AR FCG parts or glock rails (unavailable here anyway), but still closely firearm related, for example a 5.5 id hydraulic pipe, ECM tools/materials, suppressor thread adapters, or even the nailgun blanks and airgun slugs. Do you think ordering on amazon is okay or i will be subject to police questions? They are not quite only firearm parts as they have other uses but i am fear ordering everything together will look suspicious. Also I found a rifling button on aliexpress, it is titled "Flute reamer" and doesnt mention firearm but i would be gambling that import inspection doesn't realize it is a rifling button. That one seems sketchy to me
For forum posting, asking build help, and general security, do you think Tor browser + VPN + burner account + burner email is enough to keep me anonymous? I know i should limit public exposure but sometimes i have questions i cannot find answers with my research. This is the only place i talk/post publicly on 3D2A.
Also, best place/way to test shoot without being heard/reported? I am not sure how far .22 nailgun-blank sound carries, so i have been fearful of testing with ammo. I will probably just find a forest somewhere but any suggestions for keeping noise down? I have printed suppressor (K-CAD A-size) but is a short one and not sure it will do enough. Perhaps is a primer-only round quiet enough that I can test indoors? like maybe with suppressor, wrapped in a blanked or something
I am just big firearm nerd and love to building them but not sure it is worth jail time and want to be safe. I appreciate any advice you guys can offer! Thank you friends :)
