Accurate Long Range 308 Builds?

Are there any builds ideal for longer ranges that don't suffer from terrible accuracy? I know the AR-10 is an option, but is there any other alternatives? I was thinking something that is a single-shot and not super crazy. For those of you who have 3dp an AR-10, how was the overall accuracy and reliability?
