Is it possible to merge multiple BOM list into one, to get a big shoping list?

Merging BOM list
Is it possible to merge multiple BOM list into one, to get a big shoping list?
I was thinking more like a program, where you select one or more BOMs in spread sheet or other format and it converts merges it to one big list. Combining same items from the list into one line (like to 1x m4 screw from BOM1 and 1 1x m4 screw from BOM2 are merged into 2x m4 screw).
