  • So after one thrown out back and an hour on the floor due to getting old, I can confirm that the remnants trip bar does work with the db9 alloy super safety lower by you. I need to bend the back trip area a few more degrees as its on the very edge of the super safety but other than that, my function tests are going good. Thanks again for responding

  • What I'll probably do is if this trip bar for some reason doesn't work, then I'll just order new ones with the correct version this time and then get some levers cut from send cut send as well from some material.

  • Sounds good, ill try it at some point soon as I haven't modified the upper yet and cut out that piece in the back. Also waiting on filament for the super safety lever for the mac

Also for remnants trip bar im assuming i bend the front as well around the curve of the bolt and not like yours is since its missing the extra tab at the front?

  • So long story short you're saying the metal trip bar (which I ordered on send cut send) from the remnants (Mike???) mac daddy super safety system DOES work with your (PhoenixDesigns/AlexPhoenix) SS DB Alloy, they just bend in different ways and are different shapes but overall get the same function done?

Also you say the rear bend angle is different on remnants, can I use that bend angle in the SS DB Alloy or does it have to be different?

    Mac Super safety question

So I'm trying to see if I messed up or not. My hopes are high but I downloaded the "MAC Super Safety System" off odysee. I ordered from send cut send around 14 trip bars, 10 out of SS304 and 4 out of titanium.

The folder structure has led me to believe that this trip bar will work with the MacDaddy AND DB9 Alloy because of the read me file in there that says the following:

"-This DB Alloy remix ONLY works with the sheet metal trip bar design, not the printed trip bar (due to limited space in the lower design).

-The remixed designs included here were tested within beta. There are extra trunnions and different remixed lowers on the Phoenix Designworks Odysee page for those interested in other lowers not officially tested within the beta for this release."

This is not in the original phoenix designworks folder anywhere and the fact that it says "ONLY works with the sheet metal trip bar design, not the printed trip bar" tells me that it should work with the DB9 alloy as there is no p

    Kabuto troubleshooting

I tried this when it first dropped, didn't work and I just got around to trying it again as I need to order some things from SCS and I like this design but I can never get the Kabuto TURD to work. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but this is as far back as the BCG will go. I tried pulling it back further and when I did, it locked up and had to push the rear takedown pin out, let a small gap pop up and the BCG flew forward.

I just can't get anywhere with this. I'm going to try the Kev remix as it takes milspec 3 pos but I wanted to see if this worked to begin with, which it didn't.
