  • Just put the roll/estimated print info, 300g fiberon/siraya tech/bambu pa6/ppa/pps-cf/gf etc. With a lathe and welder you would put 2" x 6-10" gr5 Ti etc. The minimum wage desk jockey is not a subject expert, they won't know what the fuck you're talking about regardless, it's for proof of work in a court setting so give your potential lawyer solid ammunition to mic drop and send you home

  • Highly recommend them, with critical/large prints I also paint some vision miner glue on the plate as well, although I dont use it on shorter prints and I've never had edges lift

  • Is it warping off the plate, or is the plate lifting? I had plate lift, so I bought a cfx plate from darkmoon which is thicker steel, no glue, and no more warp

  • I upgraded the gears with HS simultaneously with the high temp modded HS nozzle install, all bambu official parts

  • Whose the captain?

  • Print the above tolerance test, follow the calibration help page for that print, after that test+adjust for shrinkage, which should be consistent throughout the print, and will be adjusted by a flat % across the entire stl

  • Many commercial 5.56 ak's have had issues due to manufacturers using 5.45 carriers/barrels. Very few combos of 5.56 parts exist with good function and accuracy. Carriers are not interchangeable between many variables (manufacturer/generation/factory) due to bolt lug dimensions/headspacing complications during break in/parts lapping. If you want a 5.56 ak, dyor and buy one, or a parts kit of one if you're intent on printing the receiver. Of note, most trunnions for both are indeed 23mm journals (ak-101 etc)

  • I got bambu parts for mine, eventually I'd like a resistance modded black diamond hotend. Satin just gives a smooth effect on the surface that's appealing for some parts, cfx is the grippiest shit I've ever seen with nylons so I use it for precarious angles or no warp allowed situations. I've taken to tree support cradle printing as well, so I smear some vision miner on the cfx to extra insurance. Pretty certain it's just pva glue suspended in IPA

  • P1S for me: all I did was swap to a hardened steel nozzle+gears, installed voxelpla detached motion feet instead of the solid rubber pads, switched to lan mode, and got a couple build plates from darkmoon(satin/cfx). I have a separate hs nozzle I wired a 33ohm resistor in-line to up nozzle temps as well, just haven't installed it yet. I print from a polydryer with the printed 5% air exchanger mod+mesh plastic upgraded to SS window screen on the dryer, so I cant speak for the ams/2. Fiberon pa6/pet/pps
