PLEASE donate to Super Safety lawsuit 🙏 Save the SS!

Literally anything at all helps. Share too!

Hoffman, the creator of the Super Safety and massive inspiration for all the various reset triggers that have followed (ARC, Atrius, AZ, etc) was sued by Rare Breed claiming they infringe on their patents. Judge granted a preliminary injunction, so now they can't earn money to pay for their defense.

Even if you don't use the original SS, if you use ANY reset trigger this will set the precedent on whether your favorite trigger company dies or not.

Note: this is from the Subreddit /r/SuperSafety but i share the same sentiments.

  • Maybe it's time you start, because they can be reached on facebook if email doesn't work.

  • What did you order from them? Have you tried contacting them directly on Facebook? If there's anything I can do let me know.

  • I still visit reddit, but i'd rather not have to. I wouldn't be surprised if Demonico didn't C&D the subreddit.

  • Dude that's sweet!

  • Far as I know no one's made a speedloader for the original stripper clips, it's a good idea though.

  • I've got 4 of them, was in the beta, if you print in pla+ don't over tighten the nut and bolt, and keep the printed lever wet.

  • That's Hoffman Hoff's shop you linked a picture to, you might want to email him and ask him if he has any updated KP9 Levers left, and then use that in there, though since you're going to need to remove the spacer you'll probably want to use a recoil buffer.

  • I've got a KP9 running with a Super Safety for a friend so i'm just guessing here on where to start, I'd get a KP9 Lever or an AKV Lever or print them and start testing. Probably the best case scenario is to download and print a few test copies from the files here https://guncadindex.com/detail/SSAK_remix:c I've spoken with him and he helped me get the KP9 running, i'd recommend printing the -0.40mm CAM and trying that first and then adjusting as necessary. Once you have it running with printed versions, you'll know what you need to order in metal. Or just run the parts in Carbon Fiber and you'll be fine.

  • For the WASR M you'd probably have to remove the spacer and use either a modified AKV or KP9 Lever.
