    Trigger Kicker

    I bought a Trigger Kicker from Hoffman Tactical. I bought it to financially support (in a small way) Tim's legal defense.

    I have no intention of ever using it.

    FRTs are cool. And the selectable FRTs are AMAZING. Non-selectable has its place, I'm sure, but it probably isn't in my collection.

    I will continue to use homemade Super Safeties in my AR compatible builds. If/when the litigation concludes and Tim is able to sell the Super Safety again, he'll be getting my money.

    Has anyone else bought the Trigger Kicker with no intention of using it?

  • 5.5mm would be good for ECM rifling, but I suspect the bullet will get stuck in a stock 5.5mm tube.

  • Yes, is possible. Use 304 Stainless steel.

    The Null22 is designed for smooth bore and has a suppressor in the package

  • If you're not concerned with rifling... an 8mm OD 6mm ID 304 stainless tube will work in a pinch.

  • That should be relatively easy. It's just a different barrel bore and adjusting where the firing pin goes through the bolt, so it hits the rim as opposed to the center.

    Caveat Emptor

    Combat Armory seems to have fallen apart this year. Looking back at reviews online, it seems everything was hunky dory back in 2022, but every review from the last year has been negative.

    I hope Mike can get his business back in order, but I will not be ordering from there again. My $94 order said it shipped, over a month ago, but the tracking number doesn't work, and I haven't received my barrels.

    Buyer beware. Maybe avoid Combat Armory for now?

    I'm trying to say... Innovation continues... new releases may be slow coming, but they're being worked on.

    Things move in waves. I know BLC has several designs in beta, including (2) diy shotguns, 2 bolt action ar15s, a pump action ar15, version 2 of the SY22...

    People keep making stuff, myself included.

  • I saw someone pull the red flights from Crossman a red penetrator... open a remington or Winchester .22 ramset, cut off the crimp and press the pellet into the neck.

    As long as they're approximately an inch long and the tips are roundish, they should load fine. They might not have the power to cycle the action if you're only using 1/3 powder.

    You would still need to beef up the breech though.
