    7. If you set up the trust, any taxable events will be reported on your 1040. If you get an EIN and set up a set up a bank account, you will file a 1041 instead. The only taxable events I can think of would be from a sale of an item from the trust. That doesn’t normally happen with NFA. If you do sell something, then I would investigate the potential tax burden for it.

  • The FTN5 rimfire and the FTN4 series are okay in PLA+. I'm filing dozens of tax stamps now. I'll start printing them off in PLA+ and then if/when I blow through them, I'll upgrade to a QIDI Q2 and print them off in PA6-CF. Granted most of my cans are for PCCs which is a lot lower pressure/wear than 223/308

  • Can’t you just make a P1S (or whatever printer it’s originally configured for) profile on your slicer and import it that way? You’ll be able to see it and then copy everything over manually into your CC profile.

  • I was just going to buy the heat set tags from MAF since they'll engrave it for you. For the FTN silencers I was going to epoxy the tag on the last layer of CF wrap.   • This website also states that the SA, FA, and Burst triggers all use the same spring. Is the spring binding up on the trigger or the disconnector? Whichever side seems to be binding could probably just be polished up a bit to reduce the drag on the spring.

  • I haven't seen anyone who has tried it yet. It would definitely require some modification to the trigger to get the SS to work. The CM-1 might work better with the TURD than a SS. You could always print out the CM-1 trigger and the SS cam or the TURD and see how they interact together. They're all pretty small prints so it wouldn't take very long to test.

  • It's in the build tutorial. Do you want a Carbine or Rifle buffer tube? Does your upper have a Forward Assist? Will you use anti-walk pins for your FCG? The UBAR-X has an integrated grip and the regular allows you to add your own grip.

    Someone posted about how their account got nuked. I recommended they come here instead and the subreddit mods banned my account. I guess they would rather hold onto their shrinking fiefdom than actually advertise this community.

    Printer Recommendations

    I have a Sovol SV06+ currently but I'm interested in switching to an enclosed core XY printer for engineering filaments like PPA-CF. I've been looking at the Centuri Carbon, Qidi Q2, or a used Bambu P1S and modifying it to get a higher hot end temp. Would the CC be sufficient to print PPA-CF well or should I spend the more money on a different printer?
