  • I LOVE Rack Robotics concept. The chassis is 3d printed, assembled with hardware and submerged in a 10 gallon aquarium. It's a wonderful time to be interested in home production. The new smaller metal sintering 3d printers are also incredibly interesting.

  • Exactly, that's the power of code I suppose. More effective use of the tools we alredy have. I was in the same boat. I was like "damn dude, I've gotta share this."

  • Seems like everybody these days. They sky is falling!

  • That's absolutely dastardly. I love it. I have thought about a single stack mag fed mini shell shotgun for so long, MANY years. Or somehow converting a saiga 12 to minishell mags. The only thing you really need to worry about is rimlock of the shells. I would LOVE to see this released. It would keep me from designing a pump action mossberg receiver that's mini shell only length. I keep thinking it would be nice to have a super compact pump, but this looks like it would be blowback awesomeness.

  • It may have actually worked if he knew how to use the wrench. You must always turn the adjustable wrench to the side that has the moving jaw. He turned the wrench to the side with the stationary jaw. Cool channel though.

What's your life worth? What's your buddy's life worth?

I just want to pass this story along to the community.

Back when I was in nursing school during the pandemic, I remember hearing about how Canadian scientists had developed a snake venom based product that used UV light to cure itself and stop bleeding cold in its tracks. They did some experiments with rats and cut parts of the poor things off to induce terminal bleed out cases to test their formulation and actually had great success keeping the rats from fatal exsanguination. I always wondered if anything like that would ever be available for civilians.

Recent advances in medical technology have given rise to new treatment options for severe bleeding control. Years and years ago the Japanese began experimenting with "chitosan," you may have heard about it. Long story short it comes from crustacean exoskeletons. It can be made into all sorts of things.

A new company has figured out how to make a spray foam out of the stuff that is potent enough to stop arterial bleeding. Because it

  • I hate to say it, but this thing might be worth the hassle of getting a SOT, even IF it's only a gatling gun. I hate that we just can't have this legally as armed citizens. A 22 minigun is like my "holy grail" gun after I got my Saiga 12. I swear man.

  • I was JUST looking at Angstadt Integrally suppressed barrels the other day! This is awesome!

  • I didn't know that, thanks very much for the explanation.

  • You are the MAN! Just ordered a polished kit as well sir. Thanks again for the heads up and hard work!

  • Oh wow, thanks for the lesson. I am soaking up all the info I can before trying to do this stuff properly. Last I was aware 300blkfde was using the stuff for his cans. Things are clear as mud most of the time.

  • Is any PAHT CF going to be included in your tests? Can't wait to see your results.

  • I just got ahold of a beautiful Gen 2 Tx22 TORO, I hope parts kits and design remediation are coming along! @[email protected]

  • Any chance of a Christmas release? I still haven't found a TX22 to buy yet, lol.

  • Mad lad/scientist out of 10. "Would like to know more." I've always been very amazed by the power of ECM rigs. It's amazing home technology that's absolutely RIPE for experimentation with things like progressively faster twist rates in the same barrel. Machining that sort of stuff is difficult, but ECM you almost just set it and forget it. I'm also very interested in the EDM kit that is being worked on at the moment. I think the name is Rack Robotics, but I may be remembering that wrong. That will be awesome for DIY tinkering.

  • It was so long ago I don't remember an actual number, I do remember completely writing it off. I feel like it was 3999, but who knows

  • This would be SIIIICK. I've wanted one of these when it came out 15 years ago but they were insanely priced.

  • It looks sick!

  • Glocks your Buckmark

    Nothing personal kid.

  • I think you should offer both deburred and polished. That way you can allow people to give you a little more scratch for your efforts if they want to. I don't mind polishing myself, but I really appreciate the time that you put into this. Many of us can't design and it would be worth it to me to pay more for primo parts as thanks. ON THE FLIP SIDE, that means keeping two piles of parts instead of one and sometimes that's just not worth the headache, if that's your boat, then only offer the polished. My .02c. Very excited to see release and I am 100% down for a kit. My only regret is not grabbing a gen 2 toro while they were 400 bucks.
