  • right, i've been talking to another guy. we're trying to get something DIY without a press, but it's seeming like a press might be needed. like you can get away without one and make a usable fci (i assume) but a press would really be the icing on the cake.

  • personally, i don't think my jigs are really ideal.

    this is what i think would be promising, but they would be laser cut from scs, then you just smash the metal jigs together to bend the rxm flat.

  • i don't have the rest of the parts to try unfortunately. that'll be something i'll be working on acquiring soon but i just picked up a centauri carbon so it will be a little.

  • i need to pickup the magpul frame and the OEM internal parts required. i just printed the locking block and rear trigger housing to test. i may have a larger vise downstairs that would be able to bend using my jigs a little better. idk, work in progress.

  • well, i bent that one by hand with the jigs and a vise. i have a feeling if i give it the ol hammer treatment that it will get some tighter bends as that is the main issue, just isn't tight enough, not defined enough. the bends are just gentle curves. i also don't have a press, which i need to get, as i think some metal scs parts and a press to give the flats the ol squish is the ticket. i could probably get a passable one with a hammer, but that was the result of my primitive bends without beating the fuck out of it with a hammer. i'm going to give it another go one of these days.

    Anyone figure this out yet? I’m losing my mind. I saw chairmanwon was working on a jig but it never released and I looked around for a beta but didn’t find anything on DDRC or BLC.

  • SF/SFx, SA/DA, and elite's work, but NOT the elite SC models. you also need to remove the backplate or modify the backplate in some way to get the slide on and off (on the elite models), i think that's mentioned in the readme. if it's a mod 1 or mod 2 or whatever i'm not sure about those, you'd have to investigate that more, but the normie versions work all the same. i used a TP9SF kit from ebay.

  • i think they use the normal AR ones to my knowledge, does look a bit cockeyed though... gotta be someone with an SOT on here that has a better answer.

  • like an scs discobin? doesn't kak sell the m16 LPK? idk where to find burst parts but kak has the dual disconnector triggers and 3 pos selectors i believe.
