according to a lawyer friend of mine this could be effective since ICE agent is not a protected class and an administrative warrant like ICE uses doesnt given them special powers to enter private property .

in theory an ICE agent violating these signs could be arrested for trespassing

Hell, they can deny ICE access to public areas, too. Like you said, not a protected class.

Yup, just call swat on the masked gunmen breaking into these private places and they can get arrested.

I like it in theory but I really doubt it would stand up. Look at how specific parking tow away notifications have to be and private property signs. There is also typically an argument you can’t exclude certain types of people without a proper justification. Saying ICE are thugs is not going to work in court unfortunately.

To be real I’d bet they’d just rip it off and say it was never there.

If someone wants to do this better make it obvious, permanent, and get it pre-approved by someone familiar with property law.

That’s because a tow costs money. Simply barring someone from your property doesn’t need to be that specific, it just needs to not be bigoted. You could bar all wearers of ankle height socks if you want, but not all wheelchair users, as an example.
