I’ve decided which recipe to put on my headstone:

    Preparation Of Hexamine Peroxide[C6Hi2O6N2]

    1. Take 3.5grams Hexamine [and put it into beakerl containing 11.25grams Hydrogen peroxide (20 - 30% concentration).
    2. Add 5.25grams of concentrated Citric Acid [C6H8O7] or Acetic acid [CH3COOH] to beaker 1.
    3. Mix well for 30minutes, temperature should be between 30-42°C,then cover and leave it in a bowl of cold water till it becomes semi flour like (don’t leave unattended)
    4. Once semi flour, pour on top of it the solution of Sodium Carbonate [Na2CO3], keep pouring and stirring till it become neutral. Also to make it more pure wash it with 5 part Alcohol and 1 part Water solution.
    5. Once neutral, filter it, collect crystals and leave it to dry in sun.
    6. Once dry you can store it in water, in the following ratio = 3 part Water: 1 part Hexamine Peroxide.

Finding gravestones with recipes on them must be the hard part. Most gravestones are like

“I told you I was sick.”

One of the most interesting non-ecology related piece I’ve saw on Lemmy in a while. It brought me to learn a lot about food and funerary practices.

Can I just say that I am delighted both by the content of this post and by the fact that it is the most “mildly interesting” post I’ve ever seen posted?
