I’ve decided which recipe to put on my headstone:
Preparation Of Hexamine Peroxide[C6Hi2O6N2]
- Take 3.5grams Hexamine [and put it into beakerl containing 11.25grams Hydrogen peroxide (20 - 30% concentration).
- Add 5.25grams of concentrated Citric Acid [C6H8O7] or Acetic acid [CH3COOH] to beaker 1.
- Mix well for 30minutes, temperature should be between 30-42°C,then cover and leave it in a bowl of cold water till it becomes semi flour like (don’t leave unattended)
- Once semi flour, pour on top of it the solution of Sodium Carbonate [Na2CO3], keep pouring and stirring till it become neutral. Also to make it more pure wash it with 5 part Alcohol and 1 part Water solution.
- Once neutral, filter it, collect crystals and leave it to dry in sun.
- Once dry you can store it in water, in the following ratio = 3 part Water: 1 part Hexamine Peroxide.
At first glance I thought you just shared how to make Meth, but turns out its “just” an explosive.
Rest in Pieces
Dang, I just ran out of hexamine yesterday.

Hi
Finding gravestones with recipes on them must be the hard part. Most gravestones are like

If she opened a restaurant using these recipes, it would be my favourite haunt.

Are there a lot of recipes on tombstones?
Recipes on head stones is such a lovely idea.
Yea. Sounds awesome. I have never wanted a headstone until now.
Guess I should write down my gumbo recipe in case I die
One of the most interesting non-ecology related piece I’ve saw on Lemmy in a while. It brought me to learn a lot about food and funerary practices.
Can I just say that I am delighted both by the content of this post and by the fact that it is the most “mildly interesting” post I’ve ever seen posted?
