As many of you know, FOSSCAD has faced significant censorship on mainstream platforms. Reddit’s bans on r/fosscad and r/DIYguns, along with the looming threat of a ban on r/supersafety, have made it clear that decentralization is more important than ever for the survival and growth of our community.

This is why we’ve launched FOSSCAD.io – a better, more sustainable alternative to the centralized platforms that are too often subject to arbitrary bans and censorship. The Fediverse offers a platform where moderation is community-driven, and we can build and shape the content we want to see, free from corporate interference.
