I was disturbed at the price of 10rd P22 magazines, so a quick search on the sea and an overnight print later ive solved that issue. Mr snark blessed us with a printable p22 mag that works and can be printed and assembled for only about a dollar or less

Clear mag body to see if it’s loaded, orange follower to see when you’re out, and black base plates so they look normal in use

Docs called for cmmg/black dog spring (same as Pa22 mag spring), and I do think this is the right spring but your mag body needs to be very smooth or you get some binding. I swapped them to 626 springs and had great reliability for a 1 round per mag sacrifice (9rds now instead of 10, seeing if I can fix that with a base plate tweak)

The main difference you’ll notice using it (other than your wallet not being lighter) is that it doesn’t drop freely. You have to pull it out of mag well. This is on purpose so there are no sections that are only 1 wall thick

Looks crisp, nice color choices. Is a heavier spring usually the best solution for a binding mag?

print settings is the right fix. but a heavier spring can work as a bandaid

Its all about balance though. In testing these printed mags, 4/13 i must have left the spring a coil or two too long, and they would bind the slide up for the first few shots until the mag was about half full. I suspect clipping a coil off those mags springs should fix it right up.

At this point im still experimenting with them.

Are there particular print settings you recommend tweaking for smoother magazine channels? Or just overall better calibration? For context, I’m working on ironing out magazine function on the extended mags in the MP22k build with the hardware from your kit.
