Elefont ring - Adaptive Writing Device by Tryspire

The Elefont Ring is an adaptive writing device made out of TPU 95a to help individuals with various gripping challenges use a pen or pencil independently. This latest version features an adjustable design that conforms to fingers, toes, and different pen or pencil sizes. The grip holes measure 7.48mm, making them ideal for thinner writing tools like HB2 pencils and Bic pens. While the material allows for some flexibility—stretching up to 9.50mm—using significantly larger pens or pencils may overextend the hole, potentially affecting durability. The multi-hole structure allows for customizable ergonomic grip positions, helping to reduce hand fatigue during extended use. Thanks to its TPU construction, the ring flexes to accommodate finger sizes of 18mm and larger. For smaller fingers, adapters are included to ensure a secure fit while maintaining flexibility. As a bonus, there’s also a kid-sized version designed for 12mm finger diameters, which can expand slightly to fit larger fingers. For the adult version, an additional adapter fits into the finger hole to reduce the diameter to 14mm while still allowing it to expand for larger fingers when needed.Currently, this is the 26th iteration of the ring, crafted from Overture High-Speed TPU 95A for both flexibility and durability. This project is still a work in progress, and I’m eager to hear any feedback to help refine the design further. Please note that these designs are not licensed for commercial use, so they should not be sold. If you decide to modify the model, kindly credit the original work where it’s due.Why the name Elefont Ring? The four stubs resemble elephant feet, and when you insert your finger through the hole, it looks like an elephant’s trunk!Let me know what you think—I’d love your input to keep improving this design!Created by TryspireUpdate 1: Introduced a larger Elefont ring with a 20.5mm diameter to better fit fingers or toes, depending on your preferred use.Update 2: Added a desk/wall mount for convenient and tidy storage of your Elefont rings.**Update 3: Released the Elefont Shoe — a dedicated readjuster designed to restore the Elefont ring's original shape when the pen/pencil hole becomes overstretched. Simply press the ring into the Elefont Shoe:For minor deformations: leave it in for 1–2 hours. For more significant stretching: let it sit overnight or for 6–12 hours.Pro tip: You can store the Elefont Shoe on the Elefont ring desk/wall mount—just hang it backwards for a perfect fit.Check out this link for more things made by Tryspire: https://linktr.ee/Tryspire
