endomag insert - 45acp
for my first cad, i want to design or modifiy an existing 9mm 3dp insert to support 45acp. a question is.. why hasnt this already been created either commercially or in the FOSS community ? are there some inherent geometry blockers with 45acp/10mm calibers that dont quite fit into the endo/exomag model ?

ran out of same color bolts...
also.. readme says to use m3 bolts for handguard and rails. i believe it should be m5.. at least the bolt and nut holes are sized m5.. or maybe i did something wrong.. will see later today.
Chortex + Kaewon 10/22 Receiver
Grip comes slightly loose.. just have to tighten it before range time.. Wish the chortex used a m5 nut insert like the galileo and USK PDW models.
Anyway.. bullshit optic but works fine for 25yrd standup/free-hand shooting.

Franken 9 Question
I cant pull back the slide all the way. The thing is completely built.. trigger pin, charging handle, etc. However, I cant pull the slide all the way back.. The slide fits onto both front/rear rails. I just cant pull the slide beyond that. I can take the slide down using the takedown button. So.. what am I missing here ?
Ive built numerous glock frames.. so not a newbie..
Thoughts ?
PWC 9 - Sten Magazine Update
So Ive been having feeding issues with sten mags printed in PLA. Ive tried various PLA+ types and PLA+ manufacturers. All magazines could not hold more than 5 rds as too many rounds would loosen feedd lips. Thus not allowing rounds to stay in place for the bolt to pick up a round. Also, the magazine would not last longer than say 50rds.. bolt cycling would wear down the feed lips again, causing rounds to fall out of place and out of the magazine. So I went against the grain, picked up a Sunlu E2 dryer, dried some stored PC(75 @ 12hrs), then printed a 15rd double catch sten magazine in PC. Without any metal additions, the PC printed sten magazine can hold max rounds and can last a whole day at the range. I have the 8 inch 9mm version and its dialed in at 25yrds.. thing is just punching holes in my 3inch splatter stickers. Im not one to just chuck rounds down range.. too type a for that.. I need tight and accurate groupings. Anyway.. With the PC magazine this build is freaking hummi
PWC - RETARD QUESTION
GCI has this build tagged as a 9mm model. However, in the build doc, I only see references to 5.7. So does this model support 9mm ? or maybe the 9mm tag is a product of a GCI bug ?

22lr - Mostly Printed
Is there something that uses a metal 22lr barrel and maybe a glock trigger.. but the rest is printed ? Or a 3dp g44 or something similar ? somthing that a takes a g44 slide ? I already have a advantage arms 22lr for g17 and g19.
Menendez Feed Lips
Is there a jig to cut feed lips ? or do you have to send the dxf to a place like SCS ?
I understand bending must be done using a bending jig.
PC And Other NON-CF Filaments
So I have a spool of Polymaker PC thats been in the storage bin for a while. I picked up a Sunlu E2 dryer.. just takes the guessing game out of the equation.
Anyway.. is PC a good filament for cans ? magazines ?

Grip Install And Heat Inserts
Im trying to add heat inserts to my 10/22 chasis grip. However, Ive tried everything and I cant seem to get the heat insert to stay inserted. Any hints ? Or maybe theres a 10/22 chasis that usese a m4 nut instead.. like how you install a grip for the receission ruger. ??

PWC9 and STEN Mags
Anyone have success using sten mags printed in PLA+ ? It seems the magazine(15rd lower) cant firmly hold multiple rounds without rounds just popping off the magazine. Im guessing 100% printed magazines arent ideal. Maybe I should try STEN mags but with the RR metal inserts.
Thoughts ?

Since MPA only has the side charging upper immediately available, can I purchase a side charging bolt from another vendor ? I'm guessing MAC-11 is a specification as well, so parts should be interchangeable.If not, whats the opinion of the complete uppers from Aves ?
