  • Yes, the main issue would be that the bore size of the FTN rimfire is too small to fit a .32acp. Even if it would fit I wouldn't trust it. I'd look at the OP9 first, out of simplicity. If you want better noise suppression, then you can look at the FTN5 pcc/pistol.

  • It looks like the Septree is unfortunately discontinued. I can't find anything to the $60 white one

  • I shimmed it, and am still getting light primer strikes. The strike mark on the primer is deeper now, but gun still not firing. I printed an armorers backplate to try and see if the plunger is being depressed, but I couldn't get a good view. Plunger firing pin safety function was verified with the slide off. Not really sure what to try now other than a different frame.

  • I checked that before realizing the trigger housing was loose, but the causes for light primer strike issues weren’t apparent on my build. Just looked again, I see it has a solution for loose trigger mechanism. Thanks.

  • I bought a metric drill set for the holes, all of the pins fit snug. I’ll try another frame just for grins.

Also, the PSA dagger frames/ slides are gen 3 clones, PSA just came up with their own names, just like they do with their ARs and AKs. The slide works great on my buddies shadow systems MR920 frame.

Also where are you finding LPK for $40? Surely not OEM, lowest I’m finding is around $80

3d printed Glock loose trigger mechanism - light primer strike

Hi all, I just assembled my first glock frame, this is the third frame that I have printed. Prints came out solid with Polymaker PLA Pro. Assembled with OEM lower parts kit and aves rails. PSA Dagger slide. Chairmanwon G19 files. Passes all function tests, but every time I have attempted live fire, I am getting light primer strikes. Slide works flawlessly on other non-3d printed frames. Multiple types of ammo have also been tried. I also switched the striker spring to an OEM g19 spring that has more force than the PSA spring. Still getting light primer strikes.

I noticed that the trigger mechanism has a little play forward and backwards and was thinking it could be causing the light primer strikes. Does anyone have a good solution to secure the trigger mechanism? I was thinking of adding some epoxy in the gap, but don't want to have the trigger mechanism housing stuck in the frame.

  • Also just picked up a Centauri carbon! That convection oven is exactly what I was looking at as well. Thanks!

    Filament

Hi all, I am planning to graduate from PLA prints to PA6-CF. I was wondering what you people out there recommend for a filament dryer?
