elias52....If you can afford it, go ahead and buy multiple nozzles..I personally almost always use a .6 for PACF and similar blends. CF blends tend to print better out of a .6 in my limited experience. Whatever you get, get a backup or 2, youll need it eventually.
Like Signaidy, i too dry as i print and usually bump it down.
Most PTFE rolls on amazon will usually come with the adapters..but most dryers already have multiple ptfe quick connects.
Be sure and keep the path from the dryer to the printer as straight & short as possible...PACF is incredibly brittle. and when you pull it out of the dryer dont let the filament unravel.
-DRY DRY DRY..and keep it in an airtight container(i tried those vac bags from sunlu and some off of amazon but they all lost their seal almost right away ..I wound up getting a few of those big totes with latches and a gasket in the lid)
-Calibrate new filament,
-print SLOWWWWWW and hot
-print your first layer 5-10C hotter than the rest if you have adhesion issues.
-DRY DRY DRY
and keep on printin
if you havent already found it...300blkFDE’s PA6-CF/GF settings are what i used when i first started printing pacf...
