Anyone know how the Musgrave fire control group works? It’s double action hammer fired, has to be dead simple but the only animation on YouTube is wrong.
and by the way, how you could decide that it is wrong? you have one? The unfinished Musgrave is also available as Solidworks here https://odysee.com/@n3tdiver:9/forgotten-weapons-south-african-musgrave-pistol:0 - i saved you some time - you can make it correct ;)
Thank you!! And I was wrong as well, as it should have been “single action only” ;)
the “only” animation on youtube is really “wrong”, because it is how really the “Musgres” works - https://guncadindex.com/detail/musgres_v2:e . The guy on youtube animated a old version of Musgres and posted it as “Musgrave”.
No offense intended, and that explains it. I hadn’t watched that animation but I remembered thinking “this isn’t accurate to the actual pistol” because of the sights, extractor is different, the Glock mag, the extra pins, etc. I really wish gun Jesus had actually opened up the frame.

thats the only available source of the Musgave inner
You’re the man. Hopefully I will have updates on construction soon.
No offense - but you’ll not make any updates on this construction “soon” … that’s Musgrave slide with ~350g. weight:

and that’s Musgres slide with 1" tube and ~440g. slide :

and trust me - the cad weight calculations are pretty correct.
I have no clue, but I wanted to praise your photography skills. That’s just amazing composition and lighting there.
lol just a frame from a gun Jesus/forgotten weapons video!
Well dang! They really nailed it then.
