Anyone have success using sten mags printed in PLA+ ? It seems the magazine(15rd lower) cant firmly hold multiple rounds without rounds just popping off the magazine. Im guessing 100% printed magazines arent ideal. Maybe I should try STEN mags but with the RR metal inserts.

Thoughts ?

The creep tendency of PLA+ often leads to problems with magazines. Sten are particularly problematic since spacing of the feed lips when new leaves no margin. The only long term reliable Sten mags I’ve printed were PPA-CF and PET-CF. I suspect Siraya’s new PET-GF would also work well.

yeah… i picked up a MPA polymer magazine… just need to figure out which paddle to use. my experiment failed this afternoon… the thing functions as long as it can pick up a round from the magazine. so for now its a mac-11 single shooter… determined to get this to work though.
