I want to build a box that i can test fire into that will reduce the noise considerably so i can test fire into my garage. Has anyone built something like this. Is it feasible im thinking something i can insert my hand and pistols into that will catch the bullets and not disturb/alert my neighbors. Any ideas of what would be required Im thinking something similar to the “ftn shut your trap” but not something that sits at the end of the barrel something that encompasses the entire gun like a mini soundproof room
Build a box out of plywood, insulate around it with rockwool, and build another box on the outside of that, also insulated. Should be a good start at least. Don’t forget the backstop!
